The “Scottish Salmon Guide” can provide everything you need to ensure you have a great Scottish salmon fishing trip. This can include airport/hotel collection and drop off service, accommodation, I highly recommend East Haugh House.  Salmon fishing equipment and salmon fishing tuition and guidance. Bankside catering can also be arranged, this is normally provided by professional local caterers The Scottish Deli and where possible we try to provide the best Scottish produce available.

I have access to some of the best hotels in Scotland, albeit a days fishing or weeks fishing holiday, I’ll happily build a package that meets your requirements, based on your budget.  Please get in touch to discuss your requirements, go to our contact us page for all my details.

Fishing Tackle

I’ll happily provide advice and guidance on what tackle to bring to make the most of your day(s) fishing.  I can also provide both spinning and fly fishing tackle at a small extra cost.   Fly choice will depend very much on the time of year. Spring and autumn weighted tube flies are the norm, but in low water conditions flies tied on larger doubles or trebles will be the order of the day, summer double and treble flies down to a size 10 or even smaller.  The most popular patterns nowadays tend to be variations on the shrimp fly theme. I will provide advice on the most appropriate patterns and will always have a box of flies in my pocket.  I’ve included another section here, which will give you a good idea regarding what tackle to bring.

The Scottish Salmon Guide is covered by their own public liability insurance, up to a maximum of £10,000,000.
